Returning for more
Sophia Schubert of Oakridge, Tenn. will look to reclaim her title at the Bridgestone Golf / Brandt Snedeker Music City Junior presented by Toyota. Schubert won the event in 2012 posting 7-over-par 223. Alexandra Farnsworth looks to finish atop the leaderboard after placing fourth at the 2012 event.
AJGA alumnus Brandt Snedeker gives back to his roots
Brandt Snedeker, AJGA alum and current PGA TOUR professional, posted three top-20 AJGA finishes and received Rolex Junior All-America honorable mention honors in 1998. Snedeker went on to attend Vanderbilt University where he was named SEC Male Golfer of the Year during his senior season. Snedeker was named PGA TOUR “Rookie of the Year” in 2007 and won the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola in 2012. Snedeker is dedicated to his charitable efforts and believes in the importance of giving back to junior golf. He will host his first AJGA event in 2013 in his hometown.

Media Accommodations

The Bridgestone Golf / Brandt Snedeker Music City Junior presented by Toyota will have AJGA communications representatives on hand to assist media throughout the week. Prior to the tournament the AJGA will provide information about the event and its participants, as well as assist with player interviews.

After each round, media officials on-site will write a recap with the day's results. These will be emailed to all media outlets. Interviews with AJGA Tournament Directors, Tournament Chairmen and juniors may be conducted before or after tournament rounds.

About the AJGA

Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2018, the American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf.
