|The Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship is returning to Arizona after moving from the PGA Golf Club in Florida and Squire Creek Country Club in Louisiana. The Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship began its run on the AJGA schedule in 2010, the Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club in Arizona. This year's event will be held at the Gainey Ranch Golf Club.|
|During her time with the AJGA, Hurst compiled seven first-place finishes including a victory at the Polo Golf Junior Classic, The PING Invitational and the McDonald’s Betsy Rawls Girls Championship en route to 2007 Rolex Junior Player of the Year honors. The following year, Hurst won five titles on the Duramed FUTURES Tour, earning her 2008 Player of the Year honors. Upon joining the LPGA full time in 2009, Hurst has notched seven top-10 finishes and led the Tour in driving distance in 2009.|
|The Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship will be the third time in two years that the Gainey Ranch Golf Club will host an AJGA event. Previous events at Gainey Ranch were the 2012 PBE Qualifier - Scottsdale and the 2012 Junior All-Star at Gainey Ranch.|

The Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship will have AJGA communications representatives on hand to assist media throughout the week. Prior to the tournament the AJGA will provide information about the event and its participants, as well as assist with player interviews.
After each round, media officials on-site will write a recap with the day's results. These will be emailed to all media outlets. Interviews with AJGA Tournament Directors, Tournament Chairmen and juniors may be conducted before or after tournament rounds.

About the AJGA
The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA provides valuable exposure for college golf scholarships, and has an annual junior membership (boys and girls, ages 12-19) of more than 6,600 members from 50 states and 55 foreign countries.
