- The field features 68 boys and 22 girls from 22 states, Ecuador and Mexico.
|AJGA visits Buffalo Dunes|
|Buffalo Dunes Golf Course, in Garden City, Kan., will host an AJGA event for the first time in 2013. Opened in 1976, Buffalo Dunes is one of the host golf courses to the Southwest Kansas Pro-Am every August. Players such as Steve Jones, Lee Janzen, Tom Weiskopf and Stewart Cink have all played at the course.|
|Presidents Leadership Award recipient in the field|
|Divya Manthena of Camarillo, Calif., is a recipient of the 2013 USGA-AJGA Presidents' Leadership Award. Manthena organized a golf tournament for the Special Olympics of Southern California (Ventura County) that raised $13,000. Manthena has also planned and executed charity golf tournaments to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the American Red Cross. Along with the the male recipient Patrick Cover, Manthena will accept the award at the Rolex Dinner of Champions in Lancaster, Pa. on July 10.|

Top Players to Watch
The AJGA Kansas Junior at Buffalo Dunes will have AJGA communications representatives on hand to assist media throughout the week. Prior to the tournament the AJGA will provide information about the event and its participants, as well as assist with player interviews.
After each round, media officials on-site will write a recap with the day's results. These will be emailed to all media outlets. Interviews with AJGA Tournament Directors, Tournament Chairmen and juniors may be conducted before or after tournament rounds.

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf.
