With the first full month of 2012 here and gone it’s time to  take another look back on how the AJGA wrapped up January in the social media  world. The AJGA acknowledged National Girls and Women in Sports Day on  Wednesday, February 1, congratulating some top women influencers in the sports  industry.

Look Ahead
A number of AJGA staffers headed out to Houston, Texas this  past Sunday for the Rules of Golf Workshop and Exam. Tournament Director Casey  Ceman will blog about the experience as multiple staff members work toward  that passing score of 92 on the PGA-USGA Rules Exam.

The Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant program provides financial assistance to junior golfers who wish to play in AJGA events. Its goal is to give top-flight golf opportunities to young golfers regardless of financial resources. This program helps to fulfill the AJGA’s mission of developing young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf.

What is Leadership Links?

Leadership Links is a new program whereby the AJGA is able to further its mission to help develop young men and women by teaching charitable giving skills and service-oriented practices at an early age. This program gives juniors all the tools necessary to donate their time, talent and resources to local charities and the AJGA youth development programs.
