Mulligan Grip-Enhancing Sunscreen

AJGA Partners with Mulligan Sunscreen
New golf product named the preferred sunscreen of the AJGA

BRASELTON, Ga. Mulligan Grip-Enhancing Sunscreen Wipe is the Preferred Sunscreen of American Junior Golf Association through 2010, the organization announced April 9, 2010.

“The AJGA is happy to partner with Mulligan Sunscreen in the effort to educate young golfers about proper sun care,” said Mark Oskarson, AJGA chief operations officer. “Protection from the sun, especially at an early age, is key.”

Mulligan is the only grip-enhancing sunscreen product that conforms to USGA and RCGA rules. Mulligan Grip-Enhancing Sunscreen dries in seconds, is non-greasy, and is legal for use in tournament play. Mulligan comes in conveniently-packaged single-use, individual SPF 30+ sunscreen wipes that eliminate the concern of spillage in golf bags. The sunscreen is water and perspiration resistant and uses a unique copolymer that adheres to the skin, providing a slight tack which enhances golfers’ grips.

Tips on sun safety and packets of the 30 SPF Mulligan wipes will be distributed to players at all 85 events on the AJGA’s 2010 tournament schedule.

“We are committed to reducing the high rates of skin cancer among golfers through our Mulligan product and education efforts that highlight the dangers of sun exposure,” said Richard Martindale, president and CEO of TanMan International, manufacturer of Mulligan Sunscreen. “Our partnership with the AJGA is an important step toward teaching proper sun safety and reaching our goal to reduce skin cancer rates among the next generation of golfers.”

TanMan was founded in 2007 by entrepreneurs in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada.  The company’s mission is to reduce or eliminate all the negative aspects of sunscreen application to make outdoor activities safer and more enjoyable. The company markets Mulligan Grip Enhancing Suncreen Wipes, All Sports Full Spectrum Sunscreen Wipes and Sun Times Family Sunscreen Wipes. More information is available at
