Junior Golf Seminar Coming to Phoenix Area

BRASELTON, Ga. — The American Junior Golf Association along with the Junior Golf Association of Arizona will host an informative seminar on junior golf at the Golf Academy of America's Phoenix Campus May 26, 2009 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the seminar will be to help parents and players navigate the world of competitive local and national junior golf. Representatives from the AJGA and the Junior Golf Association of Arizona will present information about opportunities for young junior golfers.

Each representative will introduce parents/players to the organization and distinguish the difference between the two organizations. Larry Berroya, AJGA West Regional Director, will provide junior golfers and parents an opportunity to learn about the building block process to a successful junior golf career. Local, regional, state and national golf tournaments will be discussed with a focus on achieving a college golf scholarship. Also included in discussion will be learning how to get started with each organization as well as the competitive expectations in junior golf today.

The Golf Academy of America's Phoenix Campus is located at 670 N. Arizona Ave, Suite 13 in Chandler, Ariz. For more information or if you plan on attending, please contact Larry Berroya, AJGA West Regional Director, at lberroya@ajga.org
