Mental Golf Profile - An Added Benefit for CBS Members

If you haven’t upgraded your AJGA membership, maybe it’s time to reconsider becoming a College Bound Student Member. In 2006, all CBS Members receive an extra bonus as the AJGA has added the Mental Golf Profile to the list of benefits.

The Mental Golf Profile is an online process that allows players to focus on the side of their game that is too often overlooked, the game inside their heads. Being able to take the online questionnaire, answering brief questions about your approach to golf, will let you see the “game inside your head.”

Your personalized profile will detail your mental tendencies in these five key areas of the game.

• Preparing for the round
• Mental tendencies when playing shots
• Golf temperament
• Course management and shot selection tendencies
• Working most effectively with instructors based on your learning style.

CBS Members also have the chance to get swing videos taken for college coaches to see.

Along with the Mental Golf Profile, the College Bound Student Membership includes many other tools useful for the serious junior golfer. The Ping College Golf Guide, AJGA Player Profile, AJGA Swing Video, GOLFSTAT, NCAA College-Bound Student Athlete Preview and the Golfweek College Golf Yearbook.

The Golfweek College Golf Yearbook is also new for 2006, providing an incredible resource for junior golfers trying to learn the landscape of the college golf world. This new annual publication will provide team-by-team analysis, profiles and forecasts.

If you are not currently a CBS Member, you may upgrade your membership for just $75 and take advantage of all these extra services. The Mental Golf Profile alone is valued at $65. Learn more or upgrade now by logging in to the Player Center.
