Top Players to Watch

Max Donohue, Sioux Falls, S.D. (2014)
Donohue's first event of his career ended successfully with a win the AJGA Junior at Quad Cities in 2011, the first year it was played at Short Hills Country Club. Donohue has collected four top-ten finishes during his AJGA career and has verbally committed to the University of Arizona.
Rylee Reinertson, Gibbon, Neb. (2014)
Reinertson is the highest ranked competitor in the Boys Division at T66 in the Polo Golf Rankings. Reinertson has notched eight top-ten finishes in national competition, including a 3rd place showing at the 2011 AJGA Junior at Quad Cities. The 2014 graduate has verbally committed to Oklahoma University.
Abbey Carlson, Lake Mary, Fla. (2016)
Carlson is the top-ranked competitor in the Girls Division at No. 58 in the Polo Golf Rankings. The 2016 graduate has nine top-10 finishes in AJGA competition including a T2 finish at the 2012 AJGA Junior at Quad Cities. In 2012, Carlson notched her first AJGA victory at the Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Boyne Highlands.
Bailey Tardy, Norcross, Ga. (2015)
Tardy is a two-time AJGA Champion, collecting wins at the 2012 AJGA Junior at River Landing and 2012 Junior All-Star at Ocala hosted by Ocala-Marion Sports Commission. Tardy has finished among the top ten in national competition seven times and has verbally committed to play college golf at the University of Georgia.

Media Accommodations

The AJGA Junior at Quad Cities will have AJGA communications representatives on hand to assist media throughout the week. Prior to the tournament the AJGA will provide information about the event and its participants, as well as assist with player interviews.

After each round, media officials on-site will write a recap with the day's results. These will be emailed to all media outlets. Interviews with AJGA Tournament Directors, Tournament Chairmen and juniors may be conducted before or after tournament rounds.

About the AJGA

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA provides valuable exposure for college golf scholarships, and has an annual junior membership (boys and girls, ages 12-18) of more than 6,300 members from 48 states and more than 50 foreign countries. Through initiatives like the Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant, a financial assistance program, and Leadership Links, a service-oriented platform that teaches juniors charitable-giving skills, the AJGA fosters the growth of golf’s next generation.
