Round-up
Megan
Grehan of Mamaroneck, N.Y., took home her first
title of the 2006 season by winning the Kathy Whitworth
Invitational last week. The two-time Rolex Junior All-American
finished the event with a 72-71 - 143 tournament total.
Kimberly Kim of Pahoa, Hawaii, finished
in second. In third place was Kristen Schelling
of Mesa, Ariz., and Isabelle Lendl
of Bradenton, Fla., finished in fourth. Rounding out
the top five was Elizabeth Alger of
Tequesta, Fla., and Glory Yang of Murrieta,
Calif.

Esther
Choe of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Angela
Park of Torrance, Calif., competed this week
in the LPGA's Safeway International presented by Coca-Cola.
Played at Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club
in Superstition Mountain, Ariz., Choe finished the event
tied for 32nd with a 69-71-70-74 - 284. Park ended the
week with a 71-70-73-76 - 290 finish.
College

Memphis
sophomore Keven Fortin-Simard took
home top honors for the second time this season at the
Border Olympics last week. His 203 tournament total
set the school record for 54-holes. Baylor senior Ryan
Baca finished one stroke behind Fortin-Simard,
but was able to help his school take home team medalist
honors.
Oklahoma's
Anthony Kim dominated the field at
the Hall of Fame Invitational last week. Kim finished
the tournament with a 67-69-72 - 208 to finish eight
strokes ahead of Oklahoma State's Jonathan Moore.
Moore's second place finish was enough to help Oklahoma
State go home with team medalist honors.
Duke freshman
Amanda Blumerherst continued her winning
ways at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational. She finished
six strokes ahead of Texas A&M's Ashley
Knoll. This is Blumenherst's second victory
this season. Tied for third were Christa Spedding
of Texas A&M and Pernilla Lindberg
of Oklahoma State. Elizabeth Janangelo of Duke rounded
out the top five. Duke took home team honors finishing
nine strokes ahead of Texas A&M.

of North Carolina's Robert Riesen to
earn individual honors at the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational.
North Carolina took home team honors...Mississippi's
Kyle Ellis finished the USA Spring
Golf Classic at 4-under-par to earn medalist honors
and lead him team to top billing...Loyola-Marymount's
Jason D'Amore finished five strokes
ahead of the competition at the Callaway Golf Invitational...Jordan
Irwin of Houston took home top individual honors
at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate last
week. Houston tied for team honors with University of
South Carolina - Aiken. Scott Brown
of USC-Aiken finished tied for second with Daryl
Chappell of Virginia Commonwealth...Loyola
College's Michael Mulieri topped Kyler
Murphy in a playoff at the Fort Lauderdale
Spring Classic. St. Bonaventure took home team honors.

helping lift her school to top team honors...Indiana's
Shannon Johnson finished 5-under-par
to earn medalist honors at the UNLV Spring Invitational.
UNLV took home team honors lead by Da Sol Chung...Stephanie
Hicks of Longwood University took home top
honors at the North/South Women's Collegiate. Jacksonville's
Alexandra Andersen finished fourth
and helped lead her team to top team honors...UNC-Wilmington's
Michelle Jarman medaled at the Pinehurst
Challenge. Maryland took home team honors led by Katie
Trotter's third place finish.
