In 2005, the AJGA implemented the Regional Director position to further promote the AJGA mission through cultivating relationships in its respective regions.
The AJGA has opened five regional offices since 2006 with locations in Chicago, New York, Dallas and Phoenix. The Southeast Regional Director and Manager, South Central Regional Manager, Midwest Regional Manager and West Regional Manager alloperate out of the AJGA National Headquarters in Braselton, Ga. Regional offices ensure that Regional Directors have immediate access to their region and provide stronger, more personal customer service to AJGA players, parents, sponsors, golf courses and local committee members.
Cultivate and service relationships with AJGA stakeholders.
Ensure each AJGA event has the proper committee structure.
Drive AJGA fundraising efforts through Title Sponsors, Tournament Partners and AJGA Junior-Am Fundraising Tournaments.
Secure venues, sponsors and committees for the 2014 schedule.
Assist the Advancement Department in recognizing potential individual donors.
Collaborate with state and regional associations on junior golf and parent seminars.
Conduct Junior Golf 101 seminars, giving guidance to parents and juniors about building a junior golf career.
Act as a resource on junior golf in their region.

The American Junior Golf Foundation is the primary recipient of all charitable giving to the AJGA and as such administers a variety of programs designed to compliment the AJGA and the members and families who make up our community. The Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant program provides financial assistance to junior golfers who wish to play in AJGA events. Its goal is to give top-flight golf opportunities to young golfers regardless of financial resources. This program helps to fulfill the AJGA’s mission of developing young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf.
What is Leadership Links?
Leadership Links is a new program whereby the AJGA is able to further its mission to help develop young men and women by teaching charitable giving skills and service-oriented practices at an early age. This program gives juniors all the tools necessary to donate their time, talent and resources to local charities and the AJGA youth development programs.
