Cattail Creek Country Club
The AJGA makes its first trip to Glenwood, Md., to play at Cattail Creek Country Club. The par-72 course challenges players with difficult greens and a tough layout. Located less than an hour outside Washington, D.C., players and parents a chance to see the nation's capital.

Top Players to Watch

Isaiah Logue, Fairfield, Pa. (2014)
Playing in his final AJGA season, the future Liberty University Eagle had three top-10 finishes in 2013, including a personal-best fourth place finish at the AJGA Philadelphia Junior with rounds of 72-71-70--213. Logue currently sits at No. 75 in the Polo Golf Rankings.
Kevin Conners, Downingtown, Pa. (2015)
The 2013 season was a successful one for the high school junior as he was able to collect a pair of top-three finishes. In his first event of 2013, Conners finished third at the Burgett H. Mooney, Jr. Rome Classic presented by State Mutual Insurance Company followed by a runner-up finish at the Jos. A. Bank / David Leadbetter Championship.
Tyler Strafaci, Davie, Fla. (2016)
Strafaci is off to q quick start in 2014 after finishing in third at the AJGA Junior at Spring Valley with consecutive rounds of 2-over-par 73. In total, Strafaci has accrued three top-five finishes in his AJGA career.
Maddie Luitwieler, Katy, Texas (2015)
Luitwieler, who has given a verbal commitment to the University of Texas,took home her first AJGA championship to begin her 2014 season at the Goodman Networks Junior at Traditions over Easter weekend.
Amy Matsuoka, Newport Beach, Calif. (2016)
Matsuoka, the sole Rolex Junior All-American represented in the field, looks to continue the momentum she built throughout her 2013 season. In total, Matsuoka has earned six top-10 finishes including a win at the 2013 Lockton Kansas City Junior after tournament rounds of 74-70-71--215.
Jackie Rogowicz, Yardley, Pa. (2015)
Currently No. 88 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Rogowicz earned four runner-up finishes from 2011-2013. A verbal commit to Penn State, Rogowicz has earned a total of 13 top-10 finishes, including medalist honors at the 2011 Preseason Junior at Basking Ridge.

Media Accommodations

The AJGA Junior at Cattail Creek will have AJGA communications representatives on hand to assist media throughout the week. Prior to the tournament the AJGA will provide information about the event and its participants, as well as assist with player interviews.

After each round, media officials on-site will write a recap with the day's results. These will be emailed to all media outlets. Interviews with AJGA Tournament Directors, Tournament Chairmen and juniors may be conducted before or after tournament rounds.

About the AJGA

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA provides valuable exposure for college golf scholarships, and has an annual junior membership (boys and girls, ages 12-18) of more than 6,300 members from 48 states and more than 50 foreign countries. Through initiatives like the Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant, a financial assistance program, and Leadership Links, a service-oriented platform that teaches juniors charitable-giving skills, the AJGA fosters the growth of golf’s next generation.
