First-year tournament
The AJGA will travel to Yorba Linda in Calif., for the Bob Jones Junior Championship July 22-25. This is the first time both the Bob Jones Junior Championship and Yorba Linda Country Club will be featured on the AJGA circuit.
Local Competition
Forty-nine local California players will compete in this year's tournament. Among this group 17 look to play collegiate golf. Twelve have signed a national letter of intent. The remaining five have given verbal commitments.

Top Players to Watch

Jonathan Lai, (Hong Kong) Arcadia, Calif. (2013)
Lai is the top player in the Boys Division, sitting at No. 64 in the Polo Golf Rankings. Since 2009, Lai has collected six top-10 finishes, including his personal best T2 at the 2012 AJGA Junior Challenge. Lai is set to play at Yale University this fall.
Rong Ji, (China) Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. (2015)
Behind the strength of a victory at the 2013 Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship, Rong Ji ranks the highest in the Girls Division at No. 92 in the Polo Golf Rankings. Ji has collected seven top-10 AJGA finishes since 2012, and has finished among the top-10 in seven of eight career AJGA starts.
Brooke Graebe, Yorba Linda, Calif. (2015)
No. 96 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Brooke Graebe ranks the second highest among the Girls division. The local favorite has earned seven top-five AJGA finishes, including a personal best first place finish at the 2012 PBE Qualifier-Stockton.

Media Accommodations

The Bob Jones Junior Championship will have AJGA communications representatives on hand to assist media throughout the week. Prior to the tournament the AJGA will provide information about the event and its participants, as well as assist with player interviews.

After each round, media officials on-site will write a recap with the day's results. These will be emailed to all media outlets. Interviews with AJGA Tournament Directors, Tournament Chairmen and juniors may be conducted before or after tournament rounds.

About the AJGA

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA provides valuable exposure for college golf scholarships, and has an annual junior membership (boys and girls, ages 12-18) of more than 6,300 members from 48 states and more than 50 foreign countries. Through initiatives like the Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant, a financial assistance program, and Leadership Links, a service-oriented platform that teaches juniors charitable-giving skills, the AJGA fosters the growth of golf’s next generation.
