The Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship is returning to Arizona after moving from the PGA Golf Club in Florida and Squire Creek Country Club in Louisiana. The Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship began its run on the AJGA schedule in 2010, the Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club in Arizona. This year's event will be held at the Gainey Ranch Golf Club.
Vicki Hurst
During her time with the AJGA, Hurst compiled seven first-place finishes including a victory at the Polo Golf Junior Classic, The PING Invitational and the McDonald’s Betsy Rawls Girls Championship en route to 2007 Rolex Junior Player of the Year honors. The following year, Hurst won five titles on the Duramed FUTURES Tour, earning her 2008 Player of the Year honors. Upon joining the LPGA full time in 2009, Hurst has notched seven top-10 finishes and led the Tour in driving distance in 2009.
Gainey Ranch
The Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship will be the third time in two years that the Gainey Ranch Golf Club will host an AJGA event. Previous events at Gainey Ranch were the 2012 PBE Qualifier - Scottsdale and the 2012 Junior All-Star at Gainey Ranch.

Top Players to Watch

Tyler Moore, Escondido, Calif. (2015)
Moore is the highest-ranked boy player in the field in the Polo Golf Rankings. He most recently finished runner-up at the 2013 AJGA Junior at Diablo Grande, bring his career top-5 finishes to four. Moore has made a verbal commitment to the University of Arizona.
Jino Sohn, Chandler, Ariz. (2015)
16-year-old has posted two top-20 finishes this season, including a T14 at the Winn Grips Heather Farr Classic hosted by Longbow Golf Club. The last time Sohn played Gainey Ranch, he placed third at the Junior All-Star at Gainey Ranch.
Peter Kyo Won Koo, (South Korea) Tucson, Ariz. (2014)
Koo has had six top-10 finishes in his junior career. The most recent was a T9 finish at PING Phoenix Junior at ASU Karsten. The 17-year-old has made a verbal commitment to play for Arizona State.
Hannah Kim, Chula Vista, Calif. (2014)
Kim leads the Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship has the highest ranked player in the field with a Polo Golf Ranking of 88. Kim has 11 top-10 finishes as a junior. Her best finish was third-place at the 2010 Junior All-Star at Château Élan. This season, Kim finished T13 at the Winn Grips Heather Farr Classic hosted by Longbow Golf Club. Kim has given a verbal commitment to Northwestern.
Mikayla Harmon, Gilbert, Ariz. (2013)
Harmon has signed to play collegiate golf at Arizona State. As a junior, she has compiled six top-5 finishes. Her best finish this season came at PING Phoenix Junior at ASU Karsten.

Media Accommodations

The Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship will have AJGA communications representatives on hand to assist media throughout the week. Prior to the tournament the AJGA will provide information about the event and its participants, as well as assist with player interviews.

After each round, media officials on-site will write a recap with the day's results. These will be emailed to all media outlets. Interviews with AJGA Tournament Directors, Tournament Chairmen and juniors may be conducted before or after tournament rounds.

About the AJGA

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA provides valuable exposure for college golf scholarships, and has an annual junior membership (boys and girls ages 12-18) of approximately 6,000 junior golfers from 49 states and more than 50 countries. To ensure scholarship opportunities for all junior golfers who have the skill, the AJGA created the Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant program to provide financial assistance to young players in need.
