of accurate drives and consistent iron play, as he hit 11 of 14 fairways as

“I made myself think about my next shot today, which was tough
after yesterday, shooting so well,” Bounds said. “I made a 35-foot putt for
birdie on No. 4. It was my first for the
day and gave me confidence for the round.”
Bounds added that he was very happy with how he has been playing
and couldn’t ask to play better through the first 36 holes.
Bobby Wyatt of Mobile, Ala., sits in second at 4-under-par 140. In a three-way tie for third at 2-under-par

sports and encouraged me.”
