TUCSON, Ariz. — Rolex Junior All-Americans Andrew Yun of Tacoma, Wash., and Kimberly Kim of Pahoa, Hawaii, Team AINOKEA, carded an 8-under-par 63 Sunday for a three-round total of 11-under-par 202 to seize a five-stroke victory at the I.R.I./Srixon Mixed Team Championship hosted by Jim Furyk.

Conducted by the American Junior Golf Association, the I.R.I./Srixon Mixed Team Championship hosted by Jim Furyk was a 54-hole stroke play event held at Arizona National Golf Club. The tournament field was comprised of 35 teams, each with one boy and one girl, and featured players from eight different states. The girls played Arizona National Golf Club at 5,945 yards, while the boys played it at 6,645 yards.

Yun and Kim fired a 4-under-par 31 on the front nine in the Four-Ball format before closing out the win with a 4-under-par 32 on the back nine.

“She made more birdies than I did,” said Yun following the round. “We were really grinding, going with the flow and helping each other out.”

“Winning any tournament is great,” he added. “There are a lot of good past champions here, so it's exciting to win this event.”

Yun, who won both the 2006 FootJoy Boys Invitational and The PING Invitational, received help from partner Kim who is coming off a win at the 2007 ReBath Heather Farr Classic in Mesa, Ariz., in April.

“I made two more birdies than he did even though he will only admit to one,” Kim said. “This tournament is a lot of fun and sometimes we forget to focus because we're joking around so much, but that is what this week is all about. We get to meet a variety of people here and I think that is why we all enjoy it so much.”

The Fullertoners, Hyun Seok Lim and Christine Song of Fullerton, Calif., posted a 6-under-par 207 after a final-round 67 to finish in second place. Special K, Austyn and Taylore Karle of Scottsdale, Ariz., took the third spot with a 4-under-par 209. The DOminators, Max and Brianna Do of Lakewood, Calif., and The Incredibles, Andrew Perez of Oxnard, Calif., and Ani Gulugian of Irvine, Calif., tied for fourth place with matching 1-under-par 212s.
