PERFORMANCE
BASED ENTRY
Step 4: Determining Tournament Fields
Tournament fields are filled based upon the following priority:
1. Fully Exempt Players
• Fully Exempt players have first priority into all AJGA Open tournaments and can play in the maximum of five Open tournaments.
2. Tournament Exemptions
• Players with Tournament Exemptions are the next priority for AJGA Open tournaments. Players with the most Tournament Exemptions have the highest priority. Within these levels, players with the most Performance Stars have priority (Example: A player with one Tournament Exemption and two Performance Stars would have priority over a player with one Tournament Exemption and one Performance Star).
(I) Players with four or more Tournament Exemptions
(II) Players with three Tournament Exemptions
(III) Players with two Tournament Exemptions
(IV) Players with one Tournament Exemption
3. Performance Stars
• Players with Performance Stars are the next priority for AJGA Open tournaments. Players with the most Performance Stars have the highest priority.
