Williams leads

After the third round, Michaela Williams of Athens, Alabama, gained sole ownership of the 54-hole lead at the Rolex Girls Junior Championship. Williams, looking for her first AJGA Invitational win, leads by one stroke heading into the final round. Williams has one AJGA victory and will attend the University of Tennessee in the fall.

Care for the Course

After the third round, juniors participated in a Care for the Course party at The Country Club of Rochester. Competitors took care of the driving range after Superintendent Rick Holfoth spoke to players about the importance of respecting the golf course and things they can do to keep the course and practice facilities in good shape.
