In 2016, 1,116 AJGA playing opportunities will be available through the Golf Performance Center Preview Series. Fifteen Golf Performance Center Preview Series tournaments will be conducted in 2016, with two of the tournaments reserved for members, ages 12-15.

The Golf Performance Center Preview Series, formerly known as the AJGA Preseason Series, was established in 2000 and is the entry point for juniors looking to compete in nationally-ranked junior golf tournaments, conducted by the AJGA. The series provides new members and their families the opportunity to get to know the AJGA and its policies, as well as allows members to build Performance Based Entry (PBE) Status.

“We are excited to be partners with the AJGA for the Golf Performance Center Preview Series,” said Roger Knick, Golf Performance Center Owner. “Our passion is directly in line with the mission of the AJGA and its members.  We are looking forward to seeing each and every new golf athlete begin their AJGA career through the Golf Performance Center Preview Series.”

Since 2003, 2,331 players who began their AJGA careers with a Preview event have signed National Letters of Intent to play college golf. Series alumni include Billy Horschel, Harris English, Bud Cauley, Morgan Hoffmann, Brooks Koepka, Patrick Reed, Smylie Kaufman and Rachel Morris, as well as past Rolex Junior Players of the Year Andrea Lee, Alison Lee and Brian Harman.

Throughout the 2015 Golf Performance Center Preview Series, 575 players earned 1,266 AJGA Performance Stars. The following charts explain how many Performance Stars will be allotted to top finishers at 2016 Golf Performance Center Preview Series tournaments.
