Meet the Wyndham Cup East Team

EAST TEAM - BOYS

Garrett Barber, Stuart, Fla. (2018)
At the age of 15, Barber is an AJGA champion and a Rolex Junior All-American. He has collected three top-10 finishes in his third season with the AJGA, including a fifth-place performance at the 2015 FJ Invitational. Barber is currently No. 35 in the Polo Golf Rankings and is making his first appearance at the Wyndham Cup.

Eugene Hong, Sanford, Fla. (2018)
Currently No. 31 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Hong has claimed two AJGA titles in the 2015 season, winning the EaglesDream Golf Academy Junior Championship and the Junior All-Star at Innisbrook. The 15-year-old also placed in the top 15 in the Thunderbird International Junior and finished in the top 25 at the FJ Invitational.

Won Jun Lee, Wesley Chapel, Fla. (2017)
Won Jun Lee, 16, has recorded a top-20 performance in each of his six AJGA events of 2015. The rising junior was the runner-up at the FJ Invitational and tied for second at the Puerto Rico Junior Open presented by EaglesDream Golf Academy. Lee is currently No. 19 in the Polo Golf Rankings.

Andrew Kozan, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. (2017)
Kozan has collected four top-15 AJGA finishes this season, including a win at the Puerto Rico Junior Open presented by EaglesDream Golf Academy, on the way to his first Wyndham Cup appearance. Kozan is No. 30 in the Polo Golf Rankings and has verbally committed to Auburn University.

S.M. Lee, Buford, Ga. (2016)
A University of Minnesota verbal commit, Lee is a two-time AJGA champion and currently No. 20 in the Polo Golf Rankings. Lee, 17, won the 2015 Wells Fargo Junior Classic presented by Mizuno and finished in the top 10 at the 2015 FJ Invitational.

Gabriel Lench, Lake Mary, Fla. (2015)
Lench, who will play for Liberty University in the fall, recorded a victory at the 2015 CB&I Boys Championship at Carlton Woods. Lench also finished T8 at the 2015 Puerto Rico Junior Open presented by EaglesDream Golf Academy and holds the No. 7 spot in the Polo Golf Rankings.

Davis Shore, Knoxville, Tenn. (2017)
At 16 years old, Shore is a two-time AJGA champion, recently winning the Toyota Music City Junior with an 18-under-par 198 total, the third-best 54-hole score in AJGA history. Shore, a verbal commit to the University of Alabama, is competing in his first Wyndham Cup and is currently No. 15 in the Polo Golf Rankings.

Braden Thornberry, Olive Branch, Miss. (2015)
A two-time Rolex Junior All-American, Thornberry holds four AJGA titles and is currently No. 18 in the Polo Golf Rankings. The 18-year-old finished second at the 2015 Thunderbird International Junior and has signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Mississippi.

Cameron Young, Scarborough, N.Y. (2015)
Young, 18, will attend Wake Forest University in the fall and carded a third-place finish at the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior at Innisbrook hosted by Justin Rose. Young, who is currently No. 14 in the Polo Golf Rankings, is making his first appearance at the Wyndham Cup.

Yechun (Carl) Yuan, Lake Mary, Fla. (2015)
Yuan competed for the Wyndham Cup East Team in 2013, and he has four top-10 performances in the 2015 season, including a second-place finish at the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior at Innisbrook hosted by Justin Rose. The 18-year-old is a two-time Rolex Junior All-American and is currently No. 10 in the Polo Golf Rankings, and he will attend the University of Washington in the fall.

EAST TEAM - GIRLS

Shannon Brooks, Vienna, Va. (2015)
Following three top-five finishes this year, Shannon Brooks is currently No. 19 in the Polo Golf Rankings. She is returning to the Wyndham Cup for the second time after posting a record of 3-1-0 in 2014. Brooks has signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Tennessee.

Sierra Brooks, Sorrento, Fla. (2016)
Sierra Brooks is currently No. 5 in the Polo Golf Rankings. She has two top-10 finishes in 2015, including a victory at the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior at Innisbrook hosted by Justin Rose. This will be Brooks’ fourth Wyndham Cup appearance, and her career record currently sits at 6-5-1 (2012-14). She has verbally committed to Wake Forest University.

Rachel Dai, Milton, Ga. (2015)
Dai is currently No. 31 in the Polo Golf Rankings and returning to the Wyndham Cup for the third consecutive year. She is a three-time Rolex Junior All-American and has signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Pennsylvania.

Maddie Rose Hamilton, Louisville, Ky. (2015)
Hamilton has finished in the top 10 in four out of the five events she’s played in this year, including a fifth-place finish at the Rolex Tournament of Champions and a victory at the Toyota Music City Junior. She is currently No. 40 in the Polo Golf Rankings and was named a Rolex Junior All-American in 2014. This will be her first appearance in the Wyndham Cup and she will play golf at the University of Notre Dame in the fall.

Jillian Hollis, Rocky River, Ohio (2015)
Hollis has two top-five finishes this year, including a fifth-place finish at the 2015 Rolex Girls Junior Championship. Currently No. 15 in the Polo Golf Rankings, she will be making her second Wyndham Cup appearance and will attend the University of Georgia in the fall.

Maria Hoyos, Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. (2017)
Hoyos is currently No. 17 in the Polo Golf Rankings. She has four top-10 finishes in 2015, including sharing medalist honors at the rain-shortened Wells Fargo Junior Classic presented by Mizuno. Hoyos has verbally committed to the University of Florida.

Emilia Migliaccio, Cary, N.C. (2017)
Migliaccio has two top-10 finishes in 2015, including a win at the Scott Robertson Memorial. A two-time AJGA champion, she is currently No. 27 in the Polo Golf Rankings and has verbally committed to Wake Forest University.

Lauren Stephenson, Lexington, S.C. (2015)
Stephenson is returning to the Wyndham Cup for the second time after tallying a 2-2-0 record in 2014. She is currently No. 7 in the Polo Golf Rankings following a T6 finish at the Thunderbird International Junior and has signed a National Letter of Intent with Clemson University.

Bailey Tardy, Norcross, Ga. (2015)
Tardy has three top-10 finishes in 2015, including a T2 finish at the Thunderbird International Junior, and is No. 18 in the Polo Golf Rankings. She is returning to the Wyndham Cup for the third year, and she will attend the University of Georgia in the fall.

Ana Paula Valdes, Bluffton, S.C. (2016)
Valdes has two top-five finishes this year, including a fourth-place performance at the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior at Innisbrook hosted by Justin Rose. She is currently No. 25 in the Polo Golf Rankings and has verbally committed to Clemson University.
