The inaugural KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational will feature a format brand new to the AJGA. A 64-player field (32 boys and 32 girls), ages 12-15, will compete in mixed pairings to determine a Boys and Girls Division champion. In addition, a new boys-versus-girls team competition will be introduced. In the team competition, the top-eight cumulative boys’ scores and top-eight cumulative girls’ scores will determine the overall team champion.

Trophies will be awarded to the top-five juniors in the Boys and Girls Division. Belts will be presented to the top-eight boys and girls whose scores count towards the team competition.

The competition, held at Blessings Golf Club in Johnson, Arkansas, will extend juniors an opportunity to play in pairings consisting of two boys and two girls apiece. New pairings will be set following conclusion of each of the first and second rounds.

The KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational will be the fourth AJGA event hosted by Blessings Golf Club, the home of the University of Arkansas men’s and women’s golf teams. The Club previously hosted the AJGA Arkansas Junior at Blessings from 2008-09 and the Rolex Tournament of Champions in 2010. The winners of the Boys Division and Girls Division at the 2010 Rolex Tournament of Champions – Anthony Paolucci and Kristen Park – went on to become the Rolex Junior Players of the Year later that year.

Stacy Lewis has hosted an AJGA tournament since 2012, and each of the four events has been played in the state of Arkansas. Lewis, an 11-time LPGA Tour champion, competed with the AJGA in 2001 and 2002. She earned three top-10 finishes across eight events before going on to star at the University of Arkansas and on the LPGA Tour.
