May 4, 2015 - Eight victors end spring on high note

AJGA Junior at The Legends presented by Plaza Motors
Matthew Liston of Louisville, Kentucky, went wire-to-wire and earned his first AJGA victory with a 4-under-par 140 total at the AJGA Junior at The Legends presented by Plaza Motors. Liston carded a 1-over-par 73 in the final round to hold onto his first-round lead. 

In the Girls Division, Micheala Williams of Athens, Alabama, carded a tournament total of 3-over-par 147 to take the title at The Country Club at The Legends. Williams, verbally committed to the University of Tennessee, was tied going into the final hole, and birdied it to win her first AJGA event.

Junior All-Star at Forsgate
Brandon Yoon of Brambleton, Virginia, prevailed on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to win the Junior All-Star at Forsgate. Yoon, 15, shot a 2-under-par 33 on the back nine to force a playoff with Joe Parrini of York, Pennsylvania. A par on the first playoff hole gave Yoon his first AJGA victory.

In the Girls Division, Lauren Peter of Carmel, New York, won after shooting 2-over-par 144 at Forsgate Country Club - The Banks Course. Peter, a freshman from Carmel High School, played her final four holes in 1-under-par en route to a final-round 72 and her first AJGA win.

Preseason Junior at Chesapeake Bay presented by Golf Performance Center
Brady Pevarnik of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, shot a 5-over-par 147 and medaled at the Preseason Junior at Chesapeake Bay presented by Golf Performance Center. Pevarnik birdied the par-5 18th hole en route to a one-stroke victory.

In the Girls Division, Lauren Muhlbauer of Newtown, Pennsylvania, medaled after shooting a 12-over-par 154 at Chesapeake Bay Golf Club at Rising Sun. Muhlbauer shot the low final-round score of 5-over-par 76.

Preseason Junior at Fieldstone
Thomas Sullinger of Sylvania, Ohio, shot 1-over-par 145 to earn medalist honors at the Preseason Junior at Fieldstone. Tied for the lead heading into the final round, Sullinger tied the low final-round score of 1-over-par 73 to win by four strokes.

In the Girls Division, Tabytha Robinson of Dublin, Ohio, medaled after shooting 16-over-par 160 at Fieldstone Golf Club. Robinson was able to par the last four holes to solidify her one-stroke win.
