April 20, 2015 - Three players claim playoff wins

Kathleen Scavo of Benicia, California, carded a final-round 2-under-par 70 for a tournament total of 1-over-par 145 to take the title in the Girls Division. Scavo won a one-hole sudden-death playoff to finish in the top spot of the Girls Division. The 2013 Rolex Junior All-American carded three birdies during the final round on her way to the win.

In the Boys Division, Sanghyun Choi of Cerritos, California, also fired a final-round 2-under-par 70 en route to a tournament total of 5-under-par 139. Choi won a three-player sudden-death playoff to take the title. 

Wells Fargo Junior Classic presented by Mizuno

After the final round was cancelled due to inclement weather, five players were named champions based on first-round scores at the Wells Fargo Junior Classic presented by Mizuno. S.M. Lee of Buford, Georgia, shot a 6-under-par 66 to take the title in the Boys Division, while four girls shot 1-under-par 71 and were named co-champions: Rinko Mitsunaga of Roswell, Georgia; Virginia Green of Fairhope, Alabama; Maria Hoyos of (Colombia) Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida; and Jayna Choi of Collierville, Tennessee.

Junior All-Star at Watters Creek

Cole Hammer of Houston shot a 3-under-par 141 to win the Junior All-Star at Watters Creek. Hammer, a verbal commit to the University of Texas at Austin, was one of four co-leaders after the first round, and three birdies in the final round helped him shoot an even-par 72 and emerge victorious.

In the Girls Division, Sadie Englemann of Austin, Texas, won after shooting even-par 144 at The Courses at Watters Creek Traditions Course. Englemann, 12, shot 2-under-par 70 in the final round to force a playoff. The Texas native won after making a birdie on No. 15, the third hole of a sudden-death playoff, to claim her first AJGA win.

Junior All-Star at Aliante

Alrik Pan of West Covina, California, shot a 7-under-par 137 while going bogey-free in the final round to surge to the top of the leaderboard and win after starting the day tied for 11th. His final-round 65 was the lowest round of the weekend, and a new personal record for Pan. 

In the Girls Division, Kailie Vongsaga of Walnut, California, won with a 7-under-par 137 at Aliante Golf Club. Vongsaga started her bogey-free 67 with back-to-back birdies on Nos. 1 and 2.
