The American Junior Golf Association is proud to announce two AJGA-produced videos were honored by the 34th Annual Telly Awards. “The Internship Adventure” received recognition in the category of online recruitment pieces, while the Rolex Junior Player of the Year video featuring Matthew NeSmith won for video editing.

The Telly Awards were founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most-respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operator and corporate video departments in the world.

“The Internship Adventure” and the Rolex Junior Player of the Year video were among nearly 11,000 entries from 50 states and numerous countries. The videos were filmed and edited by Greg Cuson, Multimedia Production Manager.

“This is a new arena for the AJGA in video production,” said Stephen Hamblin, AJGA Executive Director. “To be recognized with one of the highest video awards is a tremendous honor. It speaks well of our communications department and Greg’s talents. This award gives the AJGA another source of pride.”

The award-winning Rolex Junior Player of the Year video was first shown at the Rolex Junior All-America Banquet in November. “The Internship Adventure,” which debuted in December, is the most-viewed AJGA video of all time.

“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Telly Awards Executive Director. “The AJGA’s accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill and dedication and serves as a testament to great film and video production.”
