Stacy Lewis claimed the No. 1 spot in the Women’s World Golf Rankings after winning the Founders Cup with a tournament-record 23-under-par 265 total for her seventh LPGA Tour career victory. Lewis becomes the second American to hold the top spot since the rankings began in 2006. Cristie Kerr previously held No. 1 in 2010.

Lewis played in eight AJGA tournaments during the 2001 and 2002 seasons. Her junior career was highlighted by a T4 finish at the 2002 Aaron’s / Bob Estes Abilene Junior and a seventh-place finish at the 2002 Junior All-Star at Colonial.
 
 
Before turning pro in 2008, Lewis played at the University of Arkansas where she was a four-time All-American, was named SEC Freshman of the Year in 2005 and earned 12 collegiate titles.
 
Lewis will host the second-annual KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior Open , June 17-20, at Lost Springs Golf & Athletic Club in Rogers, Ark.
 
Kevin Streelman closed with a 4-under-par 67 to win the Tampa Bay Championship presented by EverBank by two strokes, earning his first PGA TOUR career victory. Streelman finished at 10-under-par 274 for the tournament.
 
Streelman competed in four AJGA events as a junior. His career was highlighted by a runner-up finish at the 1996 Wilson Grand Geneva Junior Championship. He went on to compete at Duke University where he claimed medalist honors at the 2001 Intercollegiate and helped the Blue Devils win five tournaments.
