Brandt Snedeker finished with a 7-under-par 65 for a two-shot victory over Chris Kirk at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. His tournament total of 19-under-par 267 broke the tournament record by one shot held by Phil Mickelson (2007) and Mark O’Meara (1997) at 20-under-par 268 (recorded at Poppy Hills).

In his five starts in 2013, Snedeker has recorded one victory, two runner-up finishes and one third-place performance. This victory marks his fifth career PGA TOUR win.

During his junior career, Snedeker posted three AJGA top-20 finishes and received Rolex Junior All-America honorable mention honors in 1998. He also earned individual medalist honors at the 1998 AJGA Music City Junior Team Challenge, where his team of Adam Shanks, Noble Judy and Alan Weant took the top prize.
The Tennessee-native attended Vanderbilt University where he received All-SEC honors three years in a row. During his senior season, Snedeker was named SEC Male Golfer of the Year, becoming the first Commodore to receive the distinction after a year that included seven top-10 finishes and three victories. Before turning professional in 2003, he won the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship.
