The American Junior Golf Association will return to
Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, Jan. 18-21, for the Puerto Rico Junior Open sponsored
by Sport Link, and for the third consecutive year, the champion will earn a
sponsor’s exemption into the PGA TOUR’s Puerto Rico Open presented by
seepuertorico.com. The tournament will be held on the Championship Course at
Trump International Golf Club, home of the PGA TOUR event.
The tournament field will consist of 72 boys and the
tournament application deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 5 p.m. ET. The tournament
is the only AJGA Open event to offer a PGA TOUR exemption to its champion.
