Wyndham Worldwide , one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, announced Monday during the Opening Ceremonies of the 2014 Wyndham Cup that it will establish an endowment to benefit the Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant Program. Over the next four years, Wyndham Worldwide will give $100,000 to the AJGA to support talented junior golfers who lack the financial resources to play a national junior golf schedule.

“We are thrilled to give back to the community and invest in golf’s next generation,” said Alyson Johnson, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications. “We believe in enriching the lives of children in the communities where we live, work and play, and are proud of the fact that we have deep roots of providing service in our communities.”

Since its inception, the ACE Grant program has awarded 993 grants to 568 junior golfers, distributing more than $1.8 million. With the help of the ACE Grant program, talented junior golfers have received exposure to play at the next level, earning more than $12.8 million in college golf scholarships.

As one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, Wyndham Worldwide serves millions of guests every year, providing memorable vacation experiences in some of the world’s most beautiful destinations. Through its corporate social responsibility program and Wishes by Wyndham Foundation, the Company is committed to supporting many charitable organizations through in-kind donations, volunteer hours and by raising awareness and funds for those related to its mission.
