Charlie Beljan captured his first PGA TOUR win at the Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals Classic , Nov. 8-11. The PGA TOUR rookie closed with a 3-under-par 69 for a two-stroke margin of victory and a 16-under-par 272 tournament total.
A former Rolex Junior All-American, Beljan competed in four AJGA tournaments between 2001-2002. His best finish came at the 2002 First State Banks Southwestern Junior Classic, where he tied for sixth. That same year, he defeated Zac Reynolds to win the U.S. Junior Amateur. He continued his golf career at the University of New Mexico before turning pro in 2007.
