Digest
names Gary Gilchrist top-50 instructor
In the November issue of Golf Digest, Gary Gilchrist was recently named one of the top 50
golf instructors in the nation. Gilchrist, whose namesake academy sponsors the
Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy Junior All-Star Series, has been coaching and
instructing some of the world’s top golfers for years, both professionals and
amateurs.
He now teaches out of the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy in
Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., where he focuses on the mental, physical and
technical aspects of the game.
The goal at the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy is to develop
students in every area: strategically, mentally, technically, physically and as
a person, so they can reach their full potential in golf and in life. The
consistent cycle of learning, preparing and performing is the foundation of the
program. Students learn to approach every aspect of their development looking
at the goal, hurdle and solution — building confidence through the process and
focusing energy on the plan for improvement.
Gilchrist has taken a hands-on approach with the Gary
Gilchrist Golf Academy Junior All-Star Series, most recently hosting a clinic
and Q&A session at the Montverde Academy Junior All-Star Invitational.
