Under Armour®, Vicky Hurst Partner To Create New Event

Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club to play host to Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship

BRASELTON, Ga. – Under Armour®, Inc. (NYSE:UA), will team up with former American Junior Golf Association Rolex Junior Player of the Year Vicky Hurst to host the Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship, May 7-9.

The event will take place at Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club in Gold Canyon, Ariz., and will feature 78 of the top junior golfers ages 12 to 18. This will be the second event Under Armour® supports; the Under Armour® / Hunter Mahan Championship was created in 2009 and is played at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas.

Hurst, the 2007 Rolex Junior Player of the Year and two-time Rolex Junior All-American, claimed five victories during her AJGA career and is currently beginning her second year on the LPGA Tour. After turning pro, Hurst set numerous Duramed FUTURES Tour records, winning five events in 2008. Last year as an LPGA rookie, she had seven top 15 finishes and led the Tour in driving distance. Hurst is off to a good start in 2010, as she currently ranks No. 15 on the 2010 money list.

“I am really excited to work with the AJGA and I appreciate Under Armour’s support of this event,” said Hurst. “I learned a lot during my time with the AJGA and I want to help them for all they have done for me over the years. It was only a few years ago that I was playing out there, so I hope I can help inspire the game’s next generation to achieve their goals.”

“Under Armour® is proud to once again partner with the AJGA,” said Leon Duncan, Under Armour® brand director of golf. “Vicky is one of the brightest new stars in golf and we are thrilled to work with her in creating this event.”

The Under Armour® / Vicky Hurst Championship is one of 86 events the AJGA will conduct in 2010. This year, AJGA tournaments will take place in more than 25 states.
