Junior Round-up
Seiji Liu of Beverly Hills, Calif., and Paige Spiranac of Monument, Colo., were named Golfweek’s Players of the Week for their performances over the past week.
Liu carded a total of 6-under-par 138 to win the FCWT Legends at Orange Lake Open by six shots. Liu, a member of the class of 2010, has two top-10 finishes in his AJGA career.
Spiranac shot a 1-over-par 145 to win the FCWT Wigwam Challenge by eight strokes. It was the fifth victory out of the last six tournaments for the 15-year-old.
Professional Round-up
Geoff Ogilvy of Australia was victorious at the Mercedes-Benz Championship held at Kapalua Resort in Maui, Hawaii last weekend. Rounding out the top 10 spots were Davis Love III, Anthony Kim, Sean O’Hair, Justin Leonard, Zach Johnson, D.J. Trahan, Kenny Perry, Ernie Els, and Johnson Wagner.
