College Round-up

The Western Refining College All-American Classic was held last week at El Paso Country Club in El Paso, Texas. Four-time first team Rolex Junior All-American Webb Simpson of Wake Forest took home the trophy, topping the field by two shots. His opening round 9-under-par 62 set him up for success the rest of the tournament. Simpson finished the tournament at 15-under-par 198.

San Diego State’s Aaron Goldberg finished alone in second with a 12-under-par 201 tournament total. In a three-way tie for third were Andrew Landry of Arkansas, Jonas Blixt of Florida State and Trent Leon of Oklahoma State.

The Agua Caliente Air Force Invite finished up November 11 with Colorado State earning top team honors with help from sophomore Dustin Morris. Morris ended the event with a 22-under-par 194 total and a first-place finish.
