ReBath Heather Farr Classic to be held April 5-8

ReBath, America’s largest bath remodeler, will sponsor the ReBath Heather Farr Classic to be held April 5-8, 2007, the American Junior Golf Association announced Wednesday. The event will be held at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz.

The 132-player, 54-hole event will feature the nation’s top junior boys and girls, ages 12-18. A Srixon Qualifier will be held on Wednesday, April 4 to fill the remaining spots in the field. The first round will be held Friday, April 6, with the second and final rounds being played Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 8, respectively.

ReBath, LLC, based in Mesa, Ariz., has been the leading manufacturer and distributor of bath remodeling products throughout the United States and Canada since 1979. With more than 175 franchises coast to coast, ReBath remodels more than 100,000 bathrooms annually.

“This traditional Easter event brings out the best junior golfers in the West and we are pleased and excited about the
opportunity to support the AJGA,” said Dave Sanders, president of ReBath, LLC.

As the event enters its ninth year, it boasts some impressive past champions, including Paula Creamer and Hunter Mahan. Reigning Rolex Junior Player of the Year Philip Francis of Scottsdale, Ariz., picked up his first of three victories at this event last year.

“The AJGA is very pleased to announce this new agreement with ReBath, which will allow us to upgrade the ReBath Heather Farr Classic,” said Derrick Farnham, AJGA West regional director. “This tournament always attracts one of the top fields with members traveling from across the country to compete at Longbow. It also gives our members in the region another opportunity to gain exposure for college golf scholarships.”
