Southwest Hospitality Highlights The PING Invitational

The inaugural PING Invitational is set for Oct. 6-9 at Karsten Creek Golf Club. The last event on the AJGA schedule before the Rolex All-America teams are announced, The PING Invitational is sure to be full of exciting moments both on and off the course.

Throughout the week, juniors and their families will notice a hospitable and festive atmosphere as soon as they land at either the Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City or the Tulsa International Airport. Someone on the host committee will greet them at baggage claim where they will receive complimentary transportation to and from the airports.

Ping Pong will be available in the Players Hospitality Lounge throughout the week.

The Welcome Reception will be hosted at the Club Level of Boone Pickens Stadium. During the week, food will be complimentary to players and their families courtesy of PING and presenting sponsor SemGroup. Players Hospitality will be located at Karsten Creek in the golf team’s Indoor Practice Facility. There will be XBOXes, Ping Pong, popcorn machine, snacks and drinks for the players to kick back and have some fun after their rounds.

If you liked the Summer X-Games, then the entertainment at the Family Barbecue is for you.  Dads will “dig” it.  Moms might close their eyes.  The music will certainly be energizing.  The final evening’s Players Party will have a similar low-key theme complete with music and plenty to eat.

There are plenty of other special highlights that you can look forward to throughout the week. For more information on The PING Invitational, check out the Web site.
