Duke University's Women continue their winning tradition this season after defeating Vanderbilt University last weekend at the Hooters Collegiate Match Play Championship. Jennie Lee, Amanda Blumenherst, Anna Grzebien and Alison Whitaker all won their final round matches to take Duke to the top.

Texas A&M's Ashley Knoll shot a 7-under-par 209 tournament total last week at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown to take home the top honors. She defeated Azahara Munoz of Arizona State by two strokes. Pernilla Lindberg tied for second with Munoz and was the top finisher for Oklahoma State who was victorious in team competition.

Brian Locke of Loyola-Marymount helped his team to top honors after finishing first at the Bill Cullum Intercollegiate. His 9-under-par 207 tournament total was seven shots better than Joe Lopez of Cal State-Northridge who finished alone in second.

Campbell's Kyle Spahr shot a 6-under-par 134 tournament total and helped lead his team to top honors at the ODU/Seascape Invitational. Spahr finished one shot better than the rest of the field. Anthony Reale of East Carolina tied for second with Eric Onesi of Old Dominion at 5-under-par.

Other Alumni in Men's College Golf...

Nebraska's Brady Schnell finished first at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate last week. New Mexico State won the team division...Justin Fetcho of the University of Southern Florida finished at 8-under-par to take home the individual title last week at The Sam Hall Invitational. Nick Baker of UNC-Greensboro was the top finisher for his team who took home medalist honors in the team division.

Other Alumni in Women's College Golf...

Stetson's Danielle Jackson finished six shots ahead of the field at the DeBary Intercollegiate. Minnesota finished first in the team division and were led by Young Na Leewho finished tied for fourth...Christine Zoerlein of Southern Illinois tied for first at the Valley Conference Preview. She helped lead her team to top team honors.
